THE BATTLE FOR LAIKIPIA

September brought some exciting news our way! The Battle for Laikipia team is celebrating big wins, with Editor Sam Soko and Assistant Editor Jordan Inaan taking home the Best Editing Award at the Film Ambiente Film Festival in Brazil! The film also won a Special Feature Film Award for its powerful storytelling. Huge congratulations to the entire team!

The film has been making waves since its Sundance premiere earlier this year. It’s had an incredible festival run, hitting major stops like HotDocs, Sheffield DocFest, CPH Dox, Sydney Film Festival, and Durban Film Festival.

The ‘Battle For Laikipia’ is Directed by Daphne Matziaraki and Peter Murimi, Produced by Toni Kamau, Executive Produced by Roger Ross Williams & Geoff Martz, Co-Produced by Maya Craig.

We’re proud to have been part of the post-production team for this incredible film and can’t wait for Kenyan audiences to see it at NBO Film Fest on October 18th!

STERO

In more good news, fan-favorite short film STERO also scooped the ‘Best Narrative Short Film’ Award at FameWeek in Cape Town! We couldn’t be prouder of the team behind the film.

STERO is directed by Tevin Kimathi, produced by Juliana Kabua, and written by Millan Tarus. A huge shoutout to everyone who made this achievement possible!
