Both Free Money and Baba are still actively on the road, keeping up the momentum from both their premieres at Toronto International Film Festival.
Baba headed back to the Netherlands for Movies That Matter Festival as part of the Shorts: Glimpses into Others’ Lives programme. The film was also in contention for the Shorts Competition Award.
Free Money made waves in Denmark as part of the Changemakers section at CPH:DOX. Multiple scheduled screenings sold out and one of the things that stood out was the screening on 17th March that was followed by a debate about the film with Secretary General of Oxfam IBIS Lars Koch, associate professor at Roskilde University Janne Gleerup and chair of the citizen wage movement BIEN Denmark Helle Wisbech.
