The inaugural African event of the Global Impact Producers Association took place in Nairobi at Baraza Media Lab early this month.

GIPA, a community-driven network, is dedicated to supporting impact producers and elevating their efforts to deliver compelling and impactful social issue media to target audiences through effective campaigns that drive change.

The primary objective of the event was to extend the reach of GIPA to Africa, starting with Nairobi.

Filmmakers and storytellers participated in the event, gaining insights into the network's mission and learning how they can become part of it to amplify their own work.
