While several of our films are on the festival circuit, others are currently in the development and financing stage. This March and April, two of our upcoming projects have been selected for major international pitching forums.
Dark Horse at CPH:FORUM
Co-directors Sam Soko and Lauren DeFilippo recently presented Dark Horse at CPH:FORUM 2026, the international financing and co-production platform of CPH:DOX in Copenhagen.
With the 2026 World Cup approaching, Dark Horse is an investigative documentary that follows a banned betting influencer and a journalist as they expose how sports manipulation has evolved into a business model that threatens the integrity of the game. Being part of this slate in Denmark allowed us to connect with potential industry partners and collaborators as the project moves forward.
The Ones with the Tempered Flower at FIFOI
Next month, the hybrid documentary project The Ones with the Tempered Flower (Directed by Neema Ngelime, Produced by Ivy Kiru) heads to Réunion to take part in the inaugural FIFOI Film Market (Indian Ocean International Film Festival).
The project has been selected for the Feature Documentary Pitch, a key space within the market designed to connect African and Indian Ocean creators with international financiers and co-producers. The film, which uses raw, theatrical reenactments to explore a filmmaker’s fears and the expectations placed on women, is at a pivotal stage of development. We look forward to utilizing this strategic hub to establish the partnerships that will help bring this story to the screen.
