Softie is one of the films to make the list of 60 nominees for this year’s Peabody Awards. Out of 1300 submissions, the jury described the 60 films as ‘the most compelling and empowering stories released in broadcasting and streaming media in 2020.’

Softie is nominated among other groundbreaking films such as Stacey Abrams documentary, ‘All in: The fight for democracy’, and Oscar nominated Crip Camp.
